The Immortal Realm’s war goddess versus the Netherworld’s young demon lord. A fiercely protective wife-to-be versus a sweet, timid little softie.
Since ancient times, the Immortal Realm and the Netherworld had been at each other’s throats. Now the Immortal Realm was suffering a spiritual energy drought unlike any in a thousand years, and only a supreme treasure from the Netherworld could help restore it.
Knowing how dangerous the Netherworld was, the Heavenly Emperor strictly forbade his daughter from venturing there. Leng Qiushuang was stationed with the heavenly troops near the Netherworld, when she received word from the emperor that both his daughters, Qing Ai and Su Xue, had disappeared. He suspected they had gone to the Netherworld.
The Netherworld was ruled by two brothers: the Netherworld Emperor and the Ghost Owl King.
How could those two sisters be so reckless? So you were sent by the Heavenly Emperor to bring the two princesses back.
With no choice but to act ahead of schedule, Leng Qiushuang sneaked in alone to avoid raising the alarm. She had expected the sisters to be in dire straits, only to discover that they were dating! One was with the Ghost Owl King, and the other with the Netherworld Emperor!
Since they were safe, Leng Qiushuang decided to report back first. But just as she was about to slip away, she spotted a suspicious-looking man following her!
She’d never heard of anyone like him in the Netherworld. He was so sweet and soft, too. Just perfect to bring back and make her husband!
