Qi Yu, a lecturer in the Department of Modern History, found a bronze mirror from the Warring States Period while sorting out his grandfather's belongings, with strange inscriptions appearing on the mirror. While studying late at night, the mirror suddenly glowed, sucking her into the vortex of time and space. Qi Yu woke up in a heavy rain and found himself on the edge of an ancient battlefield, and was captured as a spy by patrolling soldiers. As she is about to be executed, the young general Wei Jing appears and postpones the execution because of her strange clothing and the modern items in her bag.
