At just 20, Yan Shuang earned her doctorate in biology. With the simple wish to help every child fall in love with biology, she took a break from the lab and stepped into a high school classroom. She never expected to reunite there with Shi Han, the little tagalong from her childhood: the boy she once sheltered beneath her umbrella had grown into a young man whose brilliance was beginning to shine.
Time had given them very different roles. She was a teacher imparting knowledge, and he was a student hungry to learn. In class, Yan Shuang sparked her students’ passion for science with cutting-edge biological knowledge and lively teaching. Under her influence, Shi Han transformed from the naive boy he once was into someone chasing his dreams. Not only did he become absorbed in biology, he also turned into the class’s little engine, inspiring everyone to immerse themselves in the pursuit of knowledge.
On a campus filled with the cries of cicadas and the scent of books, a story of growth and transformation quietly unfolds. As teacher and student, they write a tale of mutual encouragement and shared dreams, showing through their actions that the most moving bond is one in which, while pursuing our ideals, we become each other’s light.
Note: Until the male lead graduates from high school, his focus is on studying, while the female lead focuses on her work. No early romance and no inappropriate guidance.
This is the first novel I've read. The author's writing is good. He has only updated two chapters. I will continue to read it. I hope you won't disappoint me later.
