A short wuxia novel. Please be patient with this new writer.
In the chaotic Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, an edict to kill the Hu swept across the Central Plains.
Bai Xiao carries the bloodline of Lord Wu’an and wields a three-pointed, double-edged blade, killing Hu people on behalf of the imperial court.
> During one mission, he pursues a fleeing Hu merchant. With his dying breath, the man calls out the name of Bai Xiao’s mother.
Searching the body, Bai Xiao discovers a token hidden on the merchant, one that is somehow connected to his own origins.
It turns out that half the blood flowing through his veins is Hu.
For the first time, the blade of the imperial court’s hunting dog hesitates.
