A special forces soldier's unexpected transformation, and a battle to save the world through medicine and martial arts!
Former special forces soldier Qin Feng was discharged after suffering a severe injury. At the darkest point in his life, a mysterious medical text, The Secret Records of the Green Satchel, quietly changed his fate. The ancient medicine and supernatural arts recorded within not only healed his wounds, but also gave him the power to fight evil. Meanwhile, bizarre illnesses were ravaging the city. Cases of petrification and spontaneous combustion kept appearing, all part of a shocking plot by the mysterious organization Viper: to modify humanity with a genetic virus and seize control of the world.
Determined to protect life and justice, Qin Feng joins forces with Zhao Yang, the police department's star detective, and Chu Xuan, heir to a family of traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, to lead a resistance group into battle. Qin Feng combines a special forces soldier's steely resolve with the mysteries of the medical text, turning silver needles into deadly weapons. Chu Xuan uses acupuncture to support her teammates and turn the tide between life and death. With his keen eye, Zhao Yang repeatedly sees through the enemy's schemes. But they must face Long Ying, the organization's wily leader, as well as superpowered enemies who can manipulate minds and deadly traps lurking in the shadows...
From saving lives to saving the world, from fighting alone to standing side by side, a legend of courage, faith, and love unfolds on a battlefield where gunfire and flashing silver needles intertwine. As a genetic virus threatens to destroy the world, can Qin Feng unravel the medical text's ultimate secret and turn the tide amid love and hatred?
