A man who must be resurrected after death discovers that his world is a drama watched by "gods", and he must cooperate with a group of "terrorists" to "kill" this audience who feeds on tragedy by creating boredom.
Content summary:
"If your life was a scripted tragedy, would you choose to act it out silently, or tear up the script, even if you were the enemy of the whole world?"
Former national security agent Zhang Yizhan (codenamed "Zhulong") carries the memory and combat skills of the earth and travels to a cyberpunk world called "Luyun". His only ability is to resurrect in a safe place 24 hours after death.
This is not a gift, but a shackle. A system called "drama value" is coldly measuring the "spectability" of all his actions - the more tragic the sacrifice, the more tragic the victory, the more generous the reward. He gradually realized that he and the world were just the playthings of a cosmic "theater watcher".
In order to break this manipulated fate, the "Heaven and Earth Society" - a mysterious organization dedicated to "killing gods" through anti-climax, counter-narrative, and creating meaningless chaos, reached out to him. Their philosophy runs counter to Zhang Yizhan's instinct to protect the innocent.
In this ultimate game with "fate", Zhang Yizhan must make a choice: to play the tragic hero appointed by the "theater spectators", or to become a "variable" that even God cannot understand, igniting the last hope in the ashes of immortality.
