The story takes place in a modern city in 2025, in gloomy corners such as abandoned hospitals and ancient houses. Lin Feng, a young cultivator, has the ability of "yin and yang eyes" and can see and communicate with wronged souls. He uses spells and ghost-transfer rituals to help the wronged souls free themselves from their obsessions and resolve the evil spirits of evil spirits (the evil spirits are the materialization of resentment, manifested as black mist or distorted shadows). Lin Feng travels between the Yin and Yang worlds (the Yang world is the real world, and the underworld is the empty space where souls temporarily live). This is due to the unfairness of the world: rich businessmen collude with powerful people to kill innocent people, and the innocent souls cannot rest in peace.
