Wang Nianjing was born in Ulanqab, Inner Mongolia in 1979. Her mother, Li Chen, was an educated youth from Beijing who went to Inner Mongolia to broadcast. She came to Inner Mongolia in 1968. At that time, Li Chen came with his half-brother. She was 18 years old at the time, her brother was 16, and both parents went to cadre school. In 1970, my mother contracted acute liver cancer and died in the cadre school. She rushed over but didn't see her mother for the last time. In 1973, she gave up the opportunity to go to college to her younger brother. In 1976, she and her father discussed returning to Beijing because of illness, but her father found her stepmother and did not allow her to return. The news of the resumption of the college entrance examination in 1977 made her extremely excited. Unexpectedly, she fell and was seriously injured while riding a horse. It was the family of Wang Dachuang, a family of traditional Chinese medicine, who helped her recover two years later. She married Wang Dachuang without hesitation and gave birth to a daughter named Wang Nianjing in July 1979. When her daughter was three years old, she died of premature birth and massive hemorrhage after rescuing a student who fell into the water when she was pregnant with her second child. The three-year-old daughter has since become a motherless child. However, she did not expect that her daughter Yuechang would get high marks all the way to Beijing Tsinghua University and start her graphene research work.
