Lu Ming, a college student in the Department of Archeology, has been wearing a piece of Kunlun jade since he was a child. It was the only token left by his mother when he was five years old. In an accident, Lu Ming traveled to the legendary "Great Wilderness". He gradually uncovers the secret of the Queen Mother of the West and discovers that the war between humans and beasts has never really stopped, and that he is actually a descendant of the Guardians. He must face the fate of his bloodline and find the possibility of peace amidst war and conspiracy.
