The Three Calamities of the Dragon Veins: Records of the Yuan, Ming, and Underworld

Using the Imperial Jade Seal as the key, said to have been obtained by the Yuan from the Song and Jin, lost when the Ming drove out the Yuan, and replaced in the Qing by a forged “Mandate of Heaven Seal,” the story reveals the secret arts struggle behind the rise and fall of three dynasties.

Three “Dragon-Subduing Tombs” span the dynasties: the Yuan emperor’s secret burial site, the “Youdu Khan Tomb”; the Ming Jianwen Emperor’s ceremonial tomb, the “Blood Kasaya Mound”; and the “Nine Dragons Suppressing Evil Cavern” beyond the Qing frontier.

The Mongolian shamans’ “Blood Sacrifice Immortality Art,” the Ming alchemists’ “Corpse-Liberation Elixir,” and the Manchu shamans’ “Dragon Vein Fortune-Seizing Method” are all sinister arts with the same origin. The shadowy “Netherworld Court” manipulated the transitions between all three dynasties.
