The Three Watches Incense Shop

[Modern Supernatural]+ [Underworld Employee]+ [No Female Lead]+ [Incense Shop]

Shen Sanxian was born with the “Threefold Doom,” a fate that brings misfortune to both his family and himself. He was destined not to live past twenty-one.

At eighteen, he inherited an incense shop, along with...

A life-extending lamp that burns blood for fuel

A bronze bell that keeps wriggling into his pocket

A haunted house with a sign that reads, “When the third watch’s lamp is lit, do not answer the door”

And a cold-faced judge, Chu Zhao, who always appears at the most critical moments

“Pass the Yin Trade licensing exam, or your shop gets shut down.”

“Is the test about tying bows on evil spirits?”

“...Zero points on the case analysis.”

Only later did Shen Sanxian discover that his fate had been decided eighteen years ago.

[Bonus Scene]

Shen Sanxian: “This bell keeps crawling into my pocket. What’s that supposed to mean?”

Chu Zhao: “...It recognizes its master.”
