Liu Qiming is a poor young man who makes a living scavenging. One day, he rummages through a garbage dump and finds a broken robot named Maria. After tinkering with her for a while, he discovers that this mute robot girl can cook up a storm, keep a house spotless, and even do a little medicine. The two squeeze into a shabby apartment, and for the first time, Liu Qiming gets a taste of what it means to have a home.
But their good days don’t last long. The Fifth World War erupts! The streets are crawling with soldiers, gangsters, and crooked businessmen. To stay alive, Liu Qiming’s heart grows harder and harder. He goes from helping people for free to charging them protection money, and finally, he’s willing to shoot someone dead for a can of meat or a single battery! Maria’s indicator lights flash frantically with worry, but she can’t speak or stop him.
The gangsters set their sights on Liu Qiming, the tech geek, and try to seize his hideout. Instead, his sinister traps take down a whole crowd of them. At a stalemate, the gangsters actually “surrender” and invite him to join them as their boss! Liu Qiming thinks it over and agrees. Then he gives Maria a major upgrade, outfitting her with guns, cannons, and an engineer System. The mute maid becomes his personal bodyguard and battle-hardened assistant.
With Maria and his wits, Liu Qiming plots and schemes within the gang, takes down its boss, and claims the top spot for himself. His ambition grows like a weed: he swallows up territory and seizes resources, building a mighty empire amid the ruins of war! Being a gang boss isn’t enough for him. He wants to swallow up the battered nations too and become king of the world!
The plot concept is okay, but the portrayal of human nature is slightly insufficient. It feels too rushed and the energy is too deliberate. This book still has great potential. If the author can grasp the rhythm of this book well, the score will probably be 8.9 Or higher. I hope to transition to the next stage as soon as possible and update soon
Update as soon as possible. As for the lengthy review, I'll take the time to help you research it. Believe me you wrote well. But you need to pay attention to the settings and assumptions of the worldview, and grasp the core of the story. 😘😘😘 @ Falling Autumn One Leaf
Book friends, please give me your sincere reviews. I really want to know how my book is 🥺 🥺 🥺
Currently, I give it 4 stars. The plot is pretty good, but the human description is a bit poor.
