Great Sage, Please Take Me as Your Disciple

Great Sage, you’re my idol. Could I become your disciple? Please take me on as your student…

“Who are you? Though I, Old Sun, have become a Buddha and an Ancestor, I’ve never taken a disciple.”

“Who I am doesn’t matter. Don’t get hung up on the details. I’m your fan! If you don’t accept me, I’m not leaving.”
