In 202X, when the scarlet virus broke out, truck driver Lin Mu was trapped on the highway. He activated the "daily check-in investment system" (investing survival time to redeem god-level rewards), starting from an initial small safe house and gradually expanding to a base covering the world. In the process, they fight against zombies, mutated creatures and evil human forces, collect supplies, rescue survivors (such as volunteer Su Wan), and eventually become the overlord of the end of the world, uncover the origin of the virus (laboratory leak) and rebuild human society.
