Shen Weiyan, an ancient book restorer, lives alone in his old house in the south of the Yangtze River. He is surrounded by yellowed pages and faded ink every day, and his temperament is as calm as a deep pool. Until the architect Lu Shiyan came to repair the century-old stone bridge next to the old house - he carried the cold aura of the north, acted neatly, and his eyes were sharp and tired that she couldn't understand.
When they first met, he thought her method of restoring ancient books was "too slow", and she laughed at the "lack of fireworks" in his designs. But with more and more contact, he would silently give her warm ginger tea when she stayed up late to repair it, and she would remind him with records in ancient books when he was worried about the structure of the stone bridge. He took her to see the neon lights in the city, and she sat with him to watch the morning mist of the old house flowing over the stone bridge.
When the dusty past surfaced - he was infamous for his project mistakes, and she was hiding an unspoken old wound. The two saw each other's fragility clearly in the tug, and they also confirmed when they embraced each other: those seemingly incompatible edges and corners were originally shapes that existed to fit each other.
