Tokyo Ghoul: Drawer

The anime Tokyo Ghoul is adapted from the manga of the same name by Japanese manga artist Sui Ishida. Set in a fictional modern-day Tokyo, the story follows humanoid monsters known as Ghouls, who feed primarily on human flesh.

This is a derivative fan work based on the original. Please be understanding if you spot any errors, and feel free to point them out.

The protagonist is Qian Lie Yanyi, a 19-year-old woman living in the 20th Ward. She loves drawing and is an art student at Kami University. She lives in the present and longs for the future, but she isn't human: she was born half-Ghoul. So she knows the future won't open its doors to her easily. She'll have to carve her own path.

(The protagonist may cross paths with characters from the original work. Please read at your own discretion.)

(“Draw” means to make a picture, but it can also mean a tie. A “drawer” is a compartment, used here metaphorically to mean being confined. The two words can also be linked to explain the title. This really isn't a spelling mistake.)
