Lin Yu wakes up one day to find he has returned to the age of eighteen, with the physical gifts of top stars like Pavel Nedved’s stamina and Thierry Henry’s speed. He quickly makes a name for himself in the Chinese Super League. At the World Cup, his hat trick ruins a match-fixing deal orchestrated by senior football officials. Banned for a year, he is forced to drift from one amateur pitch to another.
His fortunes change when Manchester United scout Jack visits China. He happens to see Lin Yu play, is stunned by his talent, and invites him to try out for the club. Lin Yu’s phenomenal ability wins over the coaching staff, and he signs a contract. In his Premier League debut (this is my first time writing, so chapters 1–48 are a little slow, but the story gets better after chapter 49), he scores twice at Old Trafford, making a name for himself with his speed, strength, and skill. Thus begins his legendary football career.
