A 300,000-word novel that combines elements of love, sweet pets, suspense, reasoning and humor. The story begins with rookie romance writer Xu Feifei witnessing bizarre deaths one after another, and is forced to team up with cold-faced detective Mo Yuetian (nicknamed Lele) to solve the case. The two discovered that the deceased were all related to the "Soul Ark" clinic, which claims to "heal tension." The mastermind behind the scenes used the highly toxic plant "Forget-Worrow Grass" recorded in ancient books to produce neurotoxins and conduct human experiments in the name of "completely eliminating tension."
Xu Feifei gradually became braver under Mo Yuetian's "violent desensitization training" (looking at photos of corpses with red bean paste). With the writer's unique observation and empathy ability, she repeatedly discovered key clues. Liu Chaofan, the in charge of wisdom, joins as a technical consultant, and the trio gets started: from pollen tracing, sonic code deciphering, to cold storage life and death breakouts, and finally exposes the hypocrisy of the elegant psychology doctor Lin Yuanzhe, and also involves the shocking conspiracy behind the "mental breakdown" of Mo Yuetian's father Mo Feng - he is the "sister" who controls everything. Using the abandoned chemical plant as an anchor, he uses his son's pain to prove his paranoid scientific beliefs.
The ending was settled in the sweet smell of red bean paste in the cafeteria: Mo Yuetian atones for his father's sins, Xu Feifei uses "literary reasoning" to solve the final puzzle, and the two confirm their intentions while fighting against the darkness. The whole case has been solved, but the proposition of "dealing with tension" has a new meaning: it takes courage to face fear, and real healing comes from love and a bowl of red bean paste cooked just for you.
