The Biography of Liang Hongyu

From courtesan to woman general, she carved a bloody path with her spear and became the Song dynasty’s “Jade God of War”! Born into a military family, she was forced into a brothel because of her father’s crimes. Fate trampled her, but it could not break her pride.

During Fang La’s rebellion, she took up her blade and cut down her enemies, transforming from a prisoner into a demon of the battlefield. Han Shizhong declared, “This woman shall be my wife!” “Women aren’t allowed to command troops?” She gave a cold laugh and waved her banner. Three thousand female soldiers formed ranks along the Yangtze, and even Jin Wuzhu feared her. “Beat the drums! Fight to the death, and never retreat!” After forty-eight days of bloody fighting, she became a legend in a single battle, her name resounding throughout the Song and Jin! Conspiracies roiled at court. Qin Hui laid his schemes, and Yue Fei was falsely accused. She pointed her sword at the treacherous ministers: “You have brought ruin to the country. You deserve to die!” In the final battle, she fought with her hair loose and her body drenched in blood, using herself as bait. Han Shizhong roared, his eyes red: “Hongyu!!!”
