The world is not unique. Between reality and complete nothingness, there is a huge, broken, and twisted space called the "liminal corridor." It is made up of the splicing and collision of countless "fragmented spaces" that have been forgotten, abandoned by reality, or born out of strong collective fear/obsession. These fragmented spaces follow their own twisted physical rules and weird logic, and are connected to each other through unstable "cracks" or specific "regular paths."
An eroding force called "entropic erosion" is trying to break the fragile balance of the liminal corridor, dragging it completely into chaos and swallowing all existence. The protagonist Lu Li is accidentally involved, and in his survival and exploration, he discovers his deep connection with the liminal corridor, which ultimately becomes the key to fighting entropic erosion.
