Heaven-Shaking Dao Ancestor

In this cultivation world, countless cultivators toil without pause. They begin with Body Refining, then progress through Qi Refining, Spirit Transformation, and Spirit Fusion. This is only the first great step toward becoming powerful, yet most people remain stuck at this stage. Expanding the Spirit Sea marks the beginning of the second great step. In the eyes of most, anyone who reaches the Spirit Sea Realm is already an unparalleled powerhouse, let alone those above it in the Four Seas Realm and the Mortal Transformation Realm. Even fewer cultivators ever reach the third great step. Touching the Dao, comprehending the Dao, and transforming into the Dao are its three stages. Transforming into the Dao is both the final stage of the third great step and the end of cultivation in this world. Those who reach the Dao Transformation Realm and refine their own Great Dao are revered as Dao Ancestors.

In the war between the myriad races ten thousand years ago, the human race's only Dao Ancestor fell. Since then, humanity has had no Dao Ancestor. Only a handful of races have one, and though they are all gravely injured, who wouldn't want their own race to stand above the rest? Even equality has to be backed by strength! Becoming a Dao Ancestor and protecting humanity for all ages has been Zhang Li's dream since childhood. And so he sets out on a journey to protect humanity and grow ever stronger! For no other reason than to protect the human race!
