Eight years ago, Lin Yuzhi met Lu Lichuan, her criminal investigation instructor at the police academy. The instant her heart stirred became a red thread binding them for half a lifetime. But her twin sister, Shen Nianyin, schemed in secret, weaving one misunderstanding after another until their passionate first love was crushed into regret. They went their separate ways, and six years passed before they met again.
Six years later, the gears of fate quietly turned, and Lin Yuzhi reunited with Lu Lichuan at the police station while searching for him. Beneath the police badges, old love and resentment became tangled with the complications of the present. The things left unsaid and the knots left untied gradually came to light as they solved one baffling case after another, and their old feelings quietly rekindled as they fought side by side.
Just as a glimmer of love begins to shine again, Shen Nianyin reappears behind a false mask. Every time she draws near, she seems to have an ulterior motive. With cases shrouded in mystery and emotions surging beneath the surface, can Lin Yuzhi and Lu Lichuan make their way through the thorns of lies and misunderstandings, and reclaim the love time has buried as they search for the truth and for each other’s hearts?
