A thunderous bang splits the sky, and Xu Nuo makes a dazzling entrance.

Xu Nuo, a future film and television superstar from the 21st century, makes a dazzling appearance in ancient times amid a clap of thunder.

Help! He only went to audition for a role involving a man dressing as a woman. He never expected to transmigrate into the body of an ancient girl who shares his name.

A malicious mother-in-law.

A missing husband.

A woman broken and imprisoned in a secluded household.

Xu Nuo thought it would be easy to leave the estate, but on the day she was divorced, her body's original owner's mother-in-law tried to poison her. Fortunately, she received treatment in time and was unharmed.

After her birth parents take her back to their hometown, a locust plague strikes.

While making offerings to her ancestors before entering the mountains to escape the disaster, she happens upon an ancient mirror. To her surprise, it shows her modern-day self. It turns out the ancient Xu Nuo, a woman, has also entered her modern body.

After the locust plague comes a bitter winter, but fortunately, every member of the family has their own skills, and they make it through safely.

The modern knowledge conveyed through the ancient mirror makes Xu Nuo's life in the past quite enjoyable.

But why does her younger female cousin look more and more like the heroine of an old-school farming novel?
