Pokemon Fan Fiction: The Bridge of Bonds

This book focuses solely on Pokemon themselves. It features no anime characters apart from Legendary Pokémon, and most Legendary Pokémon are only borrowed in appearance, without fully matching their portrayal in the original anime.

The story takes place on an Earth with its own independent causal timeline. There are no plots in which Pokemon break through dimensional barriers. As native life forms on Earth, Pokemon are fully integrated into modern society.

The story revolves around one protagonist, but also includes side stories involving multiple characters. Some feature the protagonist directly, while others shift entirely to another character.

This work contains many original settings, with an effort to keep the logic consistent within its fictional world. It can be seen as a foundational framework for all Pokemon fan works, so the author fully welcomes others borrowing and adapting these ideas.

Here is the introduction:

“Mother once told me... tracing things back to their origins is the most important skill a researcher can have.”

When you stand somewhere, arrive at a certain point in time, take part in certain events, or meet certain people,

“do we ever truly think about the causes and consequences of everything happening in the present?”

This is a home made up of humans and Pokemon.

We encounter Pokemon.

We catch Pokemon.

We raise Pokemon.

We... become Pokemon.

Beneath the gaze of ancient legends, humans and Pokemon form bonds.

In the face of natural disasters, Pokemon and humans build bridges.

Why did you choose your Pokemon?

Why did your Pokemon choose you?

The ones who have always forged bonds with Pokemon are not some so-called humans.

They are us.

Pokémon Trainers.
