“The ceiling of esports,” Lu Xiaoyang (ID: Solar), is tired of the monotonous training at top-tier teams. One day, on a whim, she joins a “problem team” on the verge of disbanding.
PR Esports is at the bottom of the league, broke, and every player has a pile of “issues”:
Lin Ye (jungler): A former ADC with a serious hand injury, cold and taciturn, and unwilling to talk to anyone.
Cheng Ran (mid): A hot-tempered guy who smashes his keyboard whenever he tilts.
Su Yu (support): Social anxiety so severe she vomits from nerves before matches.
Lu Chen (top): His family is in debt, and he went pro just to earn money to pay it off.
Zhou Xiaoxing (manager): Struggling with heart disease, and his doctor has advised him to retire and rest.
Lu Xiaoyang, meanwhile, is widely recognized in esports as an “all-around queen.” She debuted at sixteen and immediately reached the top, sweeping world championships across multiple games. But because she was “bored,” she joined this noob team.
“They’re pretty interesting for a bunch of noobs,” she said with a smile.
The author's writing is very good, the heroine is very powerful, and the characters are very distinctive, but the plot is a bit confusing (maybe because I don't know much about e-sports). But I still like the first volume, it's very well written.
