Slow-burn Western fantasy + planes + lordship + war + scheming + genius + power fantasy. (An invincible power fantasy, no angst; play the pig to eat the tiger.)
A Demon Lord's consciousness enters the primary plane, and his soul transmigrates into the body of an earl's child. Beginning with the trials of the Holy See, he survives crisis after crisis, turns the tables, slaughters his rivals, takes control of his family, conquers planes, and seizes the power of faith.
With a demon's soul, he infiltrates the Holy See; in the name of an illegitimate son, he rules his family; in a mortal body, he slays a god...
This is Lord Edwards's path: a road to conquest piled high with corpses and blood, a stairway to godhood forged from countless bones.
The great God of Death, Lord Edwards, will protect every soul as it enters the embrace of the abyss and passes into the realm of reincarnation~
