Xu Yan is watching a tokusatsu show in her dorm when she gets so worked up that she chokes to death and transmigrates to Swordheart Continent.

Swordheart Continent is home to three races: immortals, demons, and humans. The demons dream of uniting the Three Realms. Spiritual energy is scarce in this world, making Cultivation difficult, and only the immortals stand against the demons. Legend has it that only the chosen one contracted to the five divine swords can wield the power to stop the demons.

From the start, Xu Yan is hunted by the demons. She accidentally falls off a cliff, only to become the master of the Crimson Flame Sword through a contract. From then on, she fights to survive, working at the Lucky Inn while battling the demons as a swordswoman...

[Reading Guide]

1. This is a nontraditional xianxia story. The female lead isn’t invincible from the start; she grows along the way.

2. The author is a tokusatsu fan, so the story often features tokusatsu references and Easter eggs.

3. The story leans toward everyday life. The protagonist has no romantic pairing, though supporting characters have their own relationships. It probably doesn’t count as a story about a strong female lead.

4. The author’s writing is a bit amateurish, and this is my first time writing a story. I hope you’ll bear with me.
