The Whole Class Transmigrates into a Book: A Survival Guide, Starting with Burying a Classmate Alive
All 30 students in the class transmigrate together into the melodramatic household-intrigue novel Chronicles of a Concubine's Daughter, and are forced to bind themselves to the “Plot Wrecker” System.
The PE rep transmigrates as a doomed military general. To escape his pursuers, he pretends to be dead and lies down in a coffin, only to nearly be buried alive by the class monitor, who happens to pass by with a shovel.
Crying as she apologizes, the class monitor says, “I honestly didn’t recognize you! Before I started shoveling, I even recited the periodic table to confirm your identity!”
The whole class struggles to survive amid the melodrama: the chemistry rep shocks the noblewomen with homemade soap;
The class study rep stays up all night helping an ancient exam setter predict the imperial exam questions, only to be warned by the System for “disrupting the balance of knowledge”;
When the original novel’s hero and heroine confess their love, the PE rep can’t take it anymore and calls them out in public: “Were you two printers in your past lives? You don’t even change your lines!”
They use modern knowledge to stand up to feudal rules, and warm the winter of another world with their goofy friendship.
