Peach Blossoms Bloom in the Peach Garden

Sixteen-year-old Yu Niang loves nothing more than painting peach blossoms. Every brushstroke and petal is steeped in the warmth of spring.

> A gust of wind snatches away her unfinished painting and sends it fluttering down at the feet of Bai Liang, a battle-hardened general.

He picks up the soft pink petals, and fine cracks suddenly appear in his cold, guarded heart.

On the back of the paper, a line of tiny writing reads: “Peach blossoms behind the wall are not to be plucked.”

Bai Liang grips the painting tightly. For the first time in his life, he wants to climb over that high wall.

But he does not know that the person on the other side is the one he should never have met.
