Post-Apocalypse: The Lame Big Shot Moves Like Lightning
[My take on the apocalypse + a touch of my own fantasy + a hodgepodge of wild ideas]
Synopsis:
Fang Yuhuai leans on her crutch: “Is this melon really ripe?”
The melon farmer: “Absolutely! If it’s not sweet, you can hit me.”
(His head turns into a melon. He plucks it off and hands it to Fang Yuhuai. A little flower on his neck sprouts a wrinkled human face, its roots burrow out of the ground and wrap around Fang Yu’s bad leg, then it opens its mouth and takes a bite.)
Fang Yuhuai, after being bitten: “…Oh.”
She springs up and beats him. The melon farmer bursts into tears: “You lied! You’re not lame!”
Fang Yuhuai blinks, looks at the leg planted on top of him, and grins. “I’m lame. You’re an idiot.”
