Wen Ya and Qi Ye
A clash of youth between a good girl and a troublemaker
Wen Ya is an outstanding student and vice president of the student council. Qi Ye is a rebellious boy who skips class and gets into fights. Their entirely different worlds first collide at the opening ceremony of their senior year.
When Wen Ya is assigned to tutor Qi Ye in English, she discovers a side of this “troublemaker” no one else knows. He stands up for classmates who are bullied, carefully looks after stray cats, and even has better English pronunciation than she does. Qi Ye, in turn, discovers that the seemingly perfect “model student” wears her most genuine smile when playing the piano, and can be tired and vulnerable when no one else is around.
From mutual irritation to admiration, from arguments and clashes to hidden affection, the two gradually grow closer amid campus rumors, family pressure, and self-doubt. A declaration of love on a snowy basketball court and a handwritten letter at the graduation ceremony finally bring their two hesitant hearts together.
