Before I Died, My Husband’s Family Begged Him Three Times

I was eight months pregnant.

After my husband forced me to donate blood to his first love, I died alongside my baby in the nursery he had decorated himself.

Before I died, my husband's family begged him three times.

The first was his older sister, who had never liked me. She told him my blood wasn't clotting and my arm wouldn't stop bleeding.

He sneered. “Qin Shengsheng has really come into her own. Now even you take her side?”

Then he shoved his sister out of the hospital room without a second thought.

The second was his father, who had heart disease. In a panic, he said I had acute kidney failure and was writhing on the floor in pain.

My husband snapped impatiently, “Her kidneys have always been fine. How could this happen all of a sudden? Besides, she still has another kidney, right? She won't die!”

His father was so furious he fainted on the spot, but my husband simply fed him a quick-acting heart pill, completely unfazed.

The third was his mother, who was in a wheelchair. With tears streaming down her face, she told him I was in labor and had lost consciousness. If he didn't save me now, it would be too late.

My husband laughed in exasperation. He locked the hospital room door and forced down his anger. “Mom, did you forget I'm a master gynecologist? Donating a little blood won't cause a miscarriage. Can you tell her to stop making such a scene?”
