At the start of her second year of high school, Lin Xiwan crosses paths with the legendary “River God,” Jiang Yu, after a chance “book-snatching” incident in the library. They seem to belong to different worlds, yet an old book, a joint project for the class bulletin board, and an unexpected assist during a basketball game gradually bring them into each other's orbit. Lin Xiwan quietly keeps up with everything about Jiang Yu, writing her girlish feelings in her diary.
