Chronicles of the Defiant Spirit Firmament

On the Spirit Illusion Continent, spiritual energy builds a path to the heavens, and the strong look down upon all living beings. The bitter cold of the Frigid Wasteland, the vitality of the Spiritwood Forest, the scorching heat of the Blazing Desert, and the vastness of the Spiritwater Sea conceal turmoil across the Five Regions, while the Soul Clan's shadow devours the world's spiritual roots.

Lin Feng was once a prodigy, reaching the high tier of Spirit Awakening at thirteen. But a sudden disaster destroyed his meridians and sent his spiritual power plummeting, turning him from a rising star into a good-for-nothing. His family stands on the brink of ruin, and the contemptuous stares cut like thorns. Only Liu Shiyao shields him from despair with her kindness.

To defy his fate, he ventures into danger. In Misty Spirit Mountain, he obtains a mysterious ring and meets an old man who teaches him the forbidden art, Nine Revolutions of the Spirit Abyss. By staking his vital blood to seize a chance at survival, he can rebuild his spiritual veins between life and death. Liu Shiyao risks her life to protect his path and help him break through, but this draws mysterious pursuers.

He seizes Condensing Spirit Fruit and stirs up a storm in the desert; he stands against the Yunlan Sect and reveals the young man's sharp edge; he explores the secrets of the Soul Palace and uncovers the conspiracy behind the events of years past. From struggling at Spirit Awakening to looking down upon the world as a Spirit Venerable, he gathers allies and battles the darkness, defying the Heavenly Dao with forbidden arts and shaking the heavens with his passion.

When Soul Heavenly Emperor tears open the void and seeks to devour all living beings, Lin Feng stands atop the peak of Lingxiao, the Nine-Revolution Spirit Abyss surging within him. “Even if I have to defy the world, I will protect all living beings!”
