More Than Childhood Sweethearts

Lin Chen and Su Wan are childhood sweethearts who live next door to each other. Their parents jokingly arranged an engagement for them when they were young. They were inseparable from elementary school through high school, but Lin Chen's grades fell because he spent too much time fooling around. After an accident, he dropped out and left town, becoming a regret from their school days. After starting university, Su Wan was surrounded by admirers, yet she kept the person she cared about in her heart. Years later, Lin Chen returned to his hometown for health reasons. He happened to run into Su Wan on the street when she came home for the Qingming Festival, but he had grown so weathered that she could hardly recognize him, and his own inferiority kept him from approaching her. Fate had other plans: Su Wan was transferred to the city where Lin Chen lived, and they reunited when they became roommates. After a night of drinking, Su Wan let her true feelings slip, so Lin Chen began a two-month courtship plan that finally transformed their childhood bond into a romance. Four years later, he successfully proposed, and the two started a family, building a happy life that went beyond the childhood engagement their parents had arranged.
