Western fantasy + no romance + fallen angel + no saintly heroine
(The author swears this story contains no misogyny, no rivalry between women, no gender antagonism, and no brainless characters. The heroine won't be overpowered from the start; she'll grow stronger over time.)
The moment I opened my eyes, I had become the lowest-ranking little angel in Heaven.
The next second, I was shoved before the Heresy Tribunal. My crime: questioning the laws of the Holy Light. My punishment: death!
The vampires scoffed, the elves shook their heads, and the judge roared:
“An angel of your lowly station dares to question the laws?”
As the entire court mocked me, I raised the hand bound in chains of holy light. “If I can prove before everyone that the laws are flawed, will you all dare to take your own lives in atonement?”
The instant the undiminished Holy Light split apart in my palm, the pure white wings behind me abruptly turned as black as the eternal night.
If Heaven has no place for truth, then I will… fall and forge my own path!
The content of the plot is very eye-catching, but at best it is very detailed and at worst it is gaudy and makes me feel a little anxious. But it would be good to listen to as a bedtime story.
