Sun Hao is a calm, efficient sculptor who believes deeply in his job of stripping criminals of their negative emotions and shaping them into physical sculptures with warning meaning. When he is tasked with dealing with the serial killer "Web Spinner", his faith in life begins to waver. In the confrontation with the "Malicious" nature of the "Web Weaver" that is as complex as a nebula and full of cold logic, Sun Hao discovered a terrible truth: the birth of the "Web Weaver" was not due to innate evil, but the emotional vacuum created by his parents who had been "purified", allowing him to confirm his own existence in nothingness by creating fear in others. This discovery subverted Sun Hao's worldview and plunged him into a huge conflict between duty and conscience: Should he continue to create a simplified evil monster sculpture to maintain the system, or should he present the complete and painful truth that led to the tragedy?
