Zheng Yuan lives in a depressive world called "Lonely Land". Here, sounds and strong emotions attract monsters called "shadows." Zheng Yuan started out as an ordinary villager with a calm, almost dull personality, who was good at repairing fishing nets. As he experienced the unconscious use of power, to the disaster caused by good intentions, he gradually grew into a "quasi-god" who began to understand the complexity and responsibility of his own power.
