Three months before the apocalyptic heat wave hits, at a top-level national conference,
from the No. 1 general to the country’s most influential leaders, a hundred decision-makers are suddenly flooded with painful memories of three years of blood and fire.
There is no suspicion, no hesitation. The moment their eyes meet, they understand what the others have been through.
This is not rebirth. It is the collective effort to save the seeds of civilization. A top-secret national mobilization order, codenamed “Furnace,” is put into action.
It is a very in-depth article about the apocalypse. It is not psychological enough and needs to be supplemented. The public psychology is not so simple and can be alleviated.
