In 2025, Lin Xiaoyu, a 20-year-old college student, accidentally clicked a mysterious link while using her phone late one night and instantly fell unconscious. When she woke up, she found herself in a strange place called the Nightmare Corridor. It was a horror game world developed by a mysterious organization known as the Dark Web, combining horror elements from all over the world and throughout history. The game had ten terrifying stages, and players had to clear them to earn a chance to return to the real world. If they failed, their memories of that stage would be erased and they would have to try again. After three consecutive failures, they would be trapped in the game world forever. Lin Xiaoyu also discovered that she had a special golden finger: the Fear Perception System, which could sense danger in advance, but each use consumed a great deal of stamina.
