The Great Sage's Only Favor: the Three Realms Are Not as Good as Yours Looking Back

Daiyu encountered a catastrophe in the world of Red Mansions, and her soul (or body) was involved in the turbulence of time and space. She was seriously injured and fell into coma, falling near the Huaguo Mountain. Its unique scent of Crimson Pearl Immortal Grass and fluctuation of tears alarmed Sun Wukong who was drinking alone in Shuiliandong. When Sun Wukong discovered Daiyu, he thought she was a strange and fragile little fairy (demon) at first, but his fiery eyes saw through the purity of her soul, and the deep-seated sadness and loneliness touched him. He took her back to Shuiliandong. Sun Wukong does not understand medical science, but relies on intuition and magic power (asking Laojun and Guanyin for help or threatening) to heal Daiyu. There were a lot of jokes in the process (such as feeding her elixir as jelly beans and almost overdoing it; using mana to dry clothes and almost setting the cave on fire). Daiyu woke up and was filled with fear when faced with the unfamiliar environment and this monkey with a "hairy face and a thunderous mouth". Daiyu's talent (reciting poems to the moon), pettiness (picking on the fruits of the Flower and Fruit Mountain), and her occasional vulnerability (crying due to longing or illness) made Sun Wukong amused and distressed. He didn't understand poetry and songs, but he felt that her words sounded better than the fairy music in heaven; when she shed tears, his heart tightened inexplicably.
