This is a continuation of the classic Mr. Vampire II series, titled Uncle Jiu, the Maoshan Taoist. It strives to preserve the original's core style: in the chaotic era of the Republic of China, where evil spirits haunt the land and zombies run rampant, stands Uncle Jiu, a highly skilled and upright Maoshan Taoist. Dressed in a simple Eight Trigrams robe and carrying a peachwood sword, he is versed in orthodox Maoshan magic, talismans, incantations, feng shui, and the arts of exorcising evil and suppressing malevolent forces. He walks between the worlds of yin and yang, a steadfast guardian who keeps the peace in his region.
