Smoke of Heartbreak: Tears Like Mist

From the old Yangmeishan case in Xianju County to the brothel murder case in Yuhang County, the story is a "settlement of grievances" across time and space. Troubled times magnify the good and evil of human nature, power distorts the nature of relationships, and the "smoke of hatred" is just a metaphor - all the injustices that are covered up and the suppressed emotions will eventually explode in some way, or dissipate into smoke, or leave deeper scars. It may not be important who the murderer is, but what is important is that behind this revenge, each character is responding to the impermanence of fate and the absurdity of the times in his or her own way. Very very beautiful. Highly recommended!!!!!

The plot is quite good, and it closely revolves around the case; some unrelated events, such as Taoist Fahai, are probably foreshadowing for the rest of the story. Overall, you can immerse yourself in the fun of reasoning.
