One hundred years after the "Starfall Disaster": A hundred years ago, a disaster (Starfall) originating from extraterrestrial or other dimensions swept the world, leading to the revival of spiritual energy (or "source energy", "stardust"), but this was accompanied by drastic changes in the environment, species going berserk, and the collapse of the old order. Human civilization established a new order based on giant cities ("dome cities") on the ruins, but lack of resources, external threats (violent alien beasts, extradimensional rift creatures), and internal strife have never stopped.
