The Epic of Divine Wishes

A fantasy world with magic, set in an alternate universe. Plot-driven.

“Should an epic have a protagonist? Will that protagonist be a god or a mortal? Should they succeed or fail?”

“It doesn’t really matter.”

The Creator God Yang Qian falls into the mortal realm. On his journey to reclaim his divine throne, he discovers that this world is far more complicated than it first seemed.

One morning, a girl wakes up and finds a portal. She even speaks with another version of herself. Where does the truth of this world lie?

His story and hers begin in Hetas and end west of Carol.

“All right, a story told in flashback is more likely to draw readers in, isn’t it?”

“Come on, hardly anyone’s going to read it anyway!”
