The Strange Case Receipt

A blank receipt appears out of nowhere and is randomly delivered into the hands of ordinary people.

The moment you touch it, you are forcibly pulled into a strange exam-room instance.

There are no mindless monsters chasing you here, only deadly rules nested within one another, where truth and lies are turned upside down.

Everyone thinks that following the rules obediently is the way to survive.

Keep your head down, stay silent, trust your deskmate, avoid the hallways...

But no one knows that those who follow the rules to the letter will eventually become part of the exam room.

While others fear the rules and struggle to survive, Lin Yantian is born to defy the uncanny. He can see what lies beneath the rules, hear the whispers left behind by those who came before, and glimpse the true face of the uncanny world.

The more closely you follow the rules, the sooner you die.

The more you break them, the closer you get to a way out.

White paper eats away at your bones; paper marks sear into your skin.

Every time he uncovers the truth, he becomes a little less human.

Countless trials, endless rules turned upside down, an inescapable uncanny loop.

When everyone else becomes a puppet of the instances, Lin Yantian takes rule-breaking as his blade and breaking the deadlock as his path.

I won’t submit to the rules. I’ll make my own way out.

And so begins an uncanny trial game that turns every convention upside down.
