Transmigrated into Wuthering Waves: Bound to the Rover from the Start

“Getting chased down and chewed on by a Fissure Beast on the very first day after transmigrating? Talk about starting on nightmare mode!”

Lueyang blacked out while watching the trailer for Wuthering Waves’ new update. When he opened his eyes, he had become “wild rations” on the Huanglong wilderness.

Just as the Tacet Discord’s claws loomed inches from his face, a mechanical voice boomed:

[Ding! Myriad Resonance System activated! SSR target detected: Female Rover!] [Beginner quest: Leap into her arms and beg for help (0/1)]

Lueyang: “??? There’s something wrong with this System!”

…

The Rover’s starlight blade swept through the pack of beasts. Frowning, she grabbed the oddly dressed rookie by the collar.

“Trying to scam me? Or... some new kind of Wuthering Waves player?”

Lueyang, instantly cowed: “Boss! I’ll gladly be your little sidekick!”

[Rover’s Affection +10! Ability unlocked: Starlight Resonance (pathetic version)]

…

From then on, the story went completely off the rails:

Rescuing Yangyang? He went for a high-speed joyride across the Desorock Highlands and nearly got shaved bald by a wind blade. “Grab my clothes! The System’s playing for me this time!”

Helping Taoqi? In an underwater dungeon in Port City of Guixu, he wrapped an arm around the magistrate’s waist. “How about I pay you overtime by feeding you?!”

Flirting with Sanhua? He crashed and burned in the Dim Forest, left dangling upside down from a vine. “Help! I really am just here to deliver medicine!”

…

With Jinhsi’s dragon shadow looming over the Sea of Flames and Changli’s game of strategy shrouding the Frostlands, Lueyang stared at his rapidly rising affection scores and fell into thought.

“I thought I was supposed to level up by fighting monsters. How did my romance progress get ahead of saving the world?!”
