Academy City is a metropolis covering a third of western Tokyo. It is home to 2.3 million people, more than 80 percent of whom, or 1.8 million, are students, the representatives of scientific power. Its technology is the most advanced in the world, generally believed to be about 30 years ahead of the outside world.
Most students in Academy City live in school dormitories and undergo ability development at their respective schools. Most acquire their supernatural abilities through methods such as drugs, hypnosis, and electrical stimulation. Abilities come in many different forms and are ranked by range and power: Powerless (Level 0), Low Power (Level 1), Skill-Out (Level 2), Ability User (Level 3), High Ability User (Level 4), Strong Ability User (Level 5), and Absolute Ability User (Level 6). In practice, Level 6 exists only as a theoretical possibility that someone might evolve into one; no character has ever successfully reached Level 6. Students undergo physical examinations at regular intervals to have their abilities reassessed, but 60 percent of them are Level 0, and there are only nine Level 5s in Academy City.
The relationship between Absolute Speed and the power of creation, however, is a little complicated.
The male protagonist is really miserable (when he was tortured, he thought of Xizhao being electrocuted, but the male protagonist was much more miserable). I suggest that he be tortured more in the future to make the male protagonist have some mental problems and a bit yandere [laughing] (I haven't seen much yet, so I don't know how it will develop later)
