Synopsis

A pilgrimage? Who’d want this crappy job anyway!

When the eighty-one trials become performance targets, the Great Sage’s golden cudgel just wants to clock out, and the Headband Curse is used to punish Tang Sanzang for snoring...

Welcome to the most “checked-out” pilgrimage crew in history! A sharp-tongued holy monk, a hot-tempered Monkey Brother, a gluttonous Bajie, a paranoid Sha Wujing, plus a rich young dragon who wants to change jobs every day.

The monsters kidnap Tang Sanzang not to gain immortality, but to hit their targets? Spirit Mountain isn’t the destination. Quitting is the dream!

See how these “office workers” use snark to overcome tribulations, slack off to defy fate, and turn their pilgrimage into a ridiculous, painfully relatable comedy of escape!

Buddha, can we just cancel this project already?!

Looking for a Book, Looking for a Book

I forgot the name of a book, but I remember the female lead had lots of supernatural abilities and could absorb other people’s abilities too. She could also light up stars.
