A sudden global "black rain" disaster. Rainwater is highly corrosive, highly toxic, and carries unknown microorganisms/spores. Initial exposure to rain can cause skin burns, severe pain, organ failure and even rapid death. Rainwater contaminates water sources and soil, damages electronic equipment (strong electromagnetic pulse effect), and causes instant paralysis of global communications, electricity, transportation, and production systems.
